Price of carrier depend on payment option - how to?

Hi,

 

I would like to modify my checkout process.

 

I want that my carrier (delivery) costs depends (increase or decrease) depending on payment option that cutomers use.

 

So for example if customer selects "cash on deliver" than shipping costs would be 5 € and if customer selects "payment in advance - bank" than shipping fee would be less, just 2 €.

 

Does anyone know how to do this? Is there any module that support this? Any help please?

the way to accomplish this would be to create a module that extends CarrierModule. this would allow you to set the cost of shipping based on your pricing requirements.

 

i'm sure a module exists, but i'm not aware of it. you could search the addon store or google perhaps to find it.

i can build you the module, but obviously I would charge for my services. I would need to understand what payment modules you use, the additional cost for each payment method, and what version of prestashop you use.

 

also do you charge separately for shipping today? so would these fees be in addition to your current shipping fees?
