Andrew77
I setup Prestashop 1.4.7 via my hosts CPanel. Created the Products and every graphic, and am ready to process orders. I want to use Google Checkout which was installed and I entered in my info, left to sandbox. When I click Google Checkout when the cart info is ready to pay and I get the dreaded 500 Internal Server Error. "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request" I have gone through hundreds of posts and have the following right; Permissions on folders and files are correct. SSL Installed through my host. I have SSL Enabled in the Preferences. However the following are not right; Google Checkout v1.2 by PrestaShop If I click configure the following line shows on the bottom which should be https right? The API callback URL is:http://mywebsite.com/modules/gcheckout/validation.php NOT HTTPS as google wants. I have reset and re-instaled the module. I did notice with Google Checkout 1.2 there is not htaccess file within Modules > gcheckout. I did add one as a last effort whih did not change anything. Please help. This should have been fixed last week but I cannot find the issue.

Andrew77
Removed the lines in FrontController.php with no result. Any other ideas?
tomerg3
Are you sure the folder permissions are correct? 755 for /modules/ as well as /modules/gcheckout/ ?
Andrew77
Yes, both are 775. Write permission to Public is the only unchecked permission. Paypal does the same as I just found out. But it is not setup right as a paid plan, just express but same 500 error..
tomerg3
755, not
Andrew77
Yes, Sorry for the typo. Regardless both Modules and gcheckout are set properly. Public Write unchecked. Group write unchecked. The rest checked.
Andrew77
Got it. The server was changing my permissions due to a script. My appologies
