How to put a lot of product variants?

Hi there,

i've a problem with prestashop: I've 250 products to insert in prestashop;

Each product (tailored hats) should be purchased with some variants like these:

 

1) TYPE OF TISSUE: choosing from 13 different tissues (I need picture for each tissue);

2) SIZE: choosing "one size" or a range from 55 to 61...

3) INNER BAND of the hat: choosing from 3 different types (i need picture for each band)

 

 

The big problem is to create the 13 variants for each of the 250 products because the current built in prestashop "variants generator" is complicated and cumbersone too.

Would be a very long job to do!

 

 

Can you help me?

13 x 7 x 3 = 273 combinations for each product with 13 x 3 = 39 images. Yeah, it is cumbersome, but the only way to do it. @tomerg3 has an attributes related module, see if that makes things easier. Other than that the only option is to affect the changes directly on the DB. Post here if you find a better solution for the benefit of other users.

i had to do this a few days ago. I created a module to automatically generate the combinations with 2 clicks, without editing the product. The problem is that this module is only for the combinations i needed. But i´m working on to do it general.

Remind me after a pair of weeks, because im gonna do this module public.
