thedarkest12
Hey, I'm of Interspire/VM background and this is my first venture into Prestashop. I need to have some products (not the entire store) where the typical Add To Cart button is disabled. Can it be done? If so, is it possible somebody could point me in the right direction? Thanks
El Patron
This is very easy to do. Edit the product that you do not want the add to cart button, uncheck the available for order and optionally the show price. This (when you do both) just shows the product, but no add to cart or price (again price is optional).

This (when you do both) just shows the product, but no add to cart or price (again price is optional). Couple days installed last version of Prestashop and I'm trying to remove Add to Cart button. It's uncomfortable to use catalogue mode because I want to show prices that is impossible in catalogie mode. I just tried to use unchecking cart box but it's impossible to use saparately from show price. Price is not optional. It's totally depends from add to cart. What can I do? (Actually I tried to remove code from templates with add to cart part, but nothing happened )
Dh42
Go to preferences >> performance and turn caching off and turn force compile on.
El Patron
to remove the cart you can simply simply disable your cart module from modules you should then look at your site for the add to cart buttons, You would need to make some minor changes to .tpl's and .php to stop displaying the add to cart. These are easy to find as they also check for catalog mode. If you do not feel comfortable making changes like this then you can find a community member here to do it for very little money. suerte!
