divotdiva
Hi I seem to be hitting a blank stare online searching for why this happens and how to fix but when you view my sites in prestashop on iphone or ipad it all looks ok but you can not scroll down the site. I dont want a mobile version of the sites. I have tried template monster where I bought the site from they say that they do not guarantee that the templates do not work on mobile media. Great! Can anyone help??? one of the sites is www.divotdiva.co.uk
shokinro
I dont want a mobile version of the sites. I have tried template monster where I bought the site from they say that they do not guarantee that the templates do not work on mobile media. Great! because the mobile device can not understand all tags that used for non-mobile devices. so if you want your site be supported, it might be inevitable to use mobile version. pel024
Hi, I'm also having this problem - website looks fine on an iphone but you can't zoom or scroll, so it's almost impossible to navigate the site! I'm using a modified version of the PS default theme. Does anyone know how to fix this?, CSS issue?
pel024
Does anyone have any suggestions with this? @shokinro Which tags can cause problems? I'm not after a mobile version just now, I just want to be able to zoom and scroll on an iphone etc. Cheers
Dh42
Its not the tags themselves. Mobile devices do not want to support scrolling. Idevices especially. You have to design especially for using on a mobile device, or with mobile devices in mind.
shokinro
@pel024, Yes, just like DesignHaus42 explained, modbile device has some special requirements, not just tags, even attributes. Just like some software can not work on specific device. it is the same reason.

shokinro
as I know, what you need is a PrestaShop theme that compatible with mobile devices. here is one, but I never used that before and I don't know if it is good or not. just for your reference. http://iprestashop.net/
