optimus-tech
I've had a problem since around Christmas. My Stats have stopped working. Now I cant see: * Visits and Visitors * Visitors Origins * Software used * Shop Search * Visitors Online And it's giving unreliable info too. For eg. Sales stats, Customers Registrations etc.... (Maybe I missed another place... But the stats over all doesnt work as it did before Xmas) The only possible reason for this happening could be changing the theme at that time... But honestly I dont see why it would do that... I've changed Theme before and had no problem. Please help I need to start collecting this Data consistently now, so I'm now in a bad situation with no stats..... Are there any recommendations on what to do? Also, should I consider using a 3rd party company to gather data like. Visitor behaviour, clicks, mouse tracking, pages viewed etc? Or are there any good plug ins for PS that will monitor this kind of thing? Adam

Carl Favre
Hi optimus-tech, I know that it can be frustrating when you receive no answer, but with so many new posts, sometimes it can go unnoticed for a few days. The person who could help you may also be offline at the time you post your issue. Have faith, the community always tries to help when it can . About your stats issue, what is your version of PrestaShop?

Carl Favre
Could you try to replace your current statsforecast.php in modules\statsforecast with the one below? Before doing it, backup your current file! http://svn.prestashop.com/trunk/modules/statsforecast/ Does it fix the issue?
optimus-tech
I tried that before.. Sorry for not mentioning that. It didnt seem to work. I used the Statsforecast.php file from my back up and now tried the one in the link above Both did not work....... Should I be deleting my compile and cache files? Am I missing anything? Carl Favre
As you have an old version, a way to fix it could be to upgrade your PrestaShop to 1.4.7. Have you also posted the issue in the bug tracker?
Frankie84
I'm sure this has been resolved. Anyway... I had the same issue before and I found this thread http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/232126-statistics-visits-and-visitors-not-working/ It seems that the data mining for stats module was not in the right place. I moved it to displayFooter and it started tracking stats.
