No State imput field in 1 page checkout invoice address.

Recommended Posts

I'm enabling the 1 page checkout since customers get confused with the invoice address and the "Alias" of the address.

When you click the ckeckbox to add an invoice address, the form has all the fields except the "State" field. The form of course cannot be saved and customer is stuck.

I went to the Shipping > Countries and clicked on to edit the USA but all the fields are already there:

firstname lastname

company

address1 address2

city, State:name postcode

Country:name

phone

Any suggestion?

Using 1.4.6.2

Matthew,

it's one page checkout not guest or instant. Customer still register.

With the 5 steps customers get confused all the time with Delivery and Invoice. They always ask to enter both addresses in a flat page.

In the 5 steps, when customers don't enter an alias for an address they get the "Must enter an Alias" but when they look for that field they don't find it because it's called "Assign an address title for future reference !". Duh.!

So I need to change.

Isabella.

Look at the attachment. In the Invoice form there is not field to enter the State. Unless customers enter one they can't save the form. Invoice "State" is often different from the delivery State.
