simpson7647
Hi all, I've decided to set up weight ranges for my products which are listed below: 0.1-0.3 £00.99 0.4-0.6 £1.49 0.7-0.9 £3.49 1.0-1.2 £2.99 1.3-1.5 £3.99 Now Ive set a product up as 1.1 kg expecting it to appear as £2.99 delivery cost but after checking its appeared as £3.99 So I tried it again, I wanted the next item to have 0.99 as a delivery cost so set it to 0.2kg. Only again, the delivery is £3.99 Why is this please and please help me correct it! Thanks,
simpson7647
Is there a minimum range value I'm allowed? Like 0-5 5-10 etc? Thanks,
simpson7647
Hi all, a little update to this. After clicking shipping, at the bottom of the page it states fees by carrier. It was set up as Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery so I changed this to Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery. I then checked the product and it appeared at the £0.99 I was asking for. Although here lies a problem, I need there to be a Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery as well as a Royal Mail 1st Class. It appears I can only select 1 so what can I do please? Guest
You need to set up weight ranges for each carrier

Guest
Have you set up Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery AND Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery as separate carriers, then set up weight ranges for EACH of these, so 0.1-0.3 > 1st Class & 0.1-0.3 > Recorded? Then you should be able to set the price for each carrier for each weight range Perhaps you could upload some screen prints of the differnet settings so we can see. I'm confused? Thanks,

Guest
bumpppp, anyone able to help. Thanks, Patience my friend, this is a voluntary forum where people help as and when they can. It is not instant support system It looks like only products that weight less then .6 kg can use first class, any thing above that can only use recorded - is that how you want it? If you want people to be able choose either postage system, then yes you have to set up weight ranges for both. Looking at your first post though, it looks like you dont want to offer the choice. This could be a weight thing. Where are you setting up the weight? It should be on the main product page, not the combinations These things are always hard to discuss on a forum as it is easy to misinterperate what each of us means. If you want me to take a look, you could send me log in details ([email protected])
simpson7647
Hi, thanks for the reply and I do appologise, I didn't mean to appear rude or anything. No, I don't want to give the customer the choice. As shown in the screenshot, The delivery that costs' 99p and 1.49 I will be sending by Royal Mail First class (as this will simply means in a letter). The others will all be sent Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery. Hope this helps to sort out this problem. Thanks 'It looks like only products that weight less then .6 kg can use first class, any thing above that can only use recorded - is that how you want it?' That's exactly how I want it although having problems with it Thanks,

simpson7647
Hi all, I have a quick query. The above is all working well but I've just enabled another product to my website and added the weight of 0.22 so it's a cost of 1.49 I added them to the cart to make sure it worked but I'm given the option of 2 prices, one for royal mail of 1.49 and one for royal mail recorded of 3.49. I would like it to only give them the option of the 1.49 delivery cost. How do I do this please? Thanks,
