natasha80
Hi I'm just fooling around with 1.5.0.5 and I have a few questions. 1st of all, when I add a shop in "Shops" tab, where the new store and its items will be available? It would be great if in default store we could list all the categories and items from all the other stores.... Is there a way to do this? I cannot even access the other stores using the Virtual URI that I choose... I'm using wamp localhost.... How can I set properly the shops url so i can access each store? Cheers
natasha80
After i choose a url for a new store, when I try to access that url i'm forwarded to localhost/prestashop/storeName/index.php?controller=404 .... that is, page not found..... Also in BO when I'm editing a product of a store and I try to preview it I get forwarded to same link ( localhost/prestashop/storeName/index.php?controller=404 ) how can I fix this? Ardian Yuli Setyanto
make sure you have enabled mod rewrite in your apache server, also enabled pretty url in preferences, regenerate .htaccess file via Tools > Generators
aleksmeza
Hello I've already setup PrestaShop 1.4 successfully, but I'm wondering how exactly this new feature of multiple store works on version 1.5. I want to setup 3 shops in the same server (hosting) each one with its own database, theme and domain. For example, having in the same server 3 domains that access different shops, lets say www.myeshop1.com, www.myeshop2.com, www.myeshop3.com. Is this an issue possible on 1.5 or can actually be done in 1.4? I want to host 3 shops in the same hosting, but each one with it's own configuration and database. Anyone who can tell me if this is possible would be very appreciated Regards Alex
Raphaël Malié
Hello, of course you can use different domains for the multishop (only available in 1.5, there is no multishop feature on 1.4). For your 404 error, please check that you activated the mod rewrite on wampserver (this mod is disactivated by default). Then you have to access to your virtual uri with a /, for example http://localhost/prestashop-1.5/my-virtual-uri/ Regards
