[solved] problem with images in back office and front end

hi,
I'm testing Prestashop since yesterday and this is my first issue.

in back office, when I add an image to a product, after click on "save image", I got a blank page (not really all blank, see picture in that post) and the image is not uploaded (except if I choose that image is a default image).
instead of image preview I have a link to a 404 page:
The requested URL /prestashop/img/p/10-55.jpg was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

in the front end when I want to zoom in a image, nothing happen, the loading image is... loading... to nothing...

any idea???

I have read the change log of the version 1.2 there is the problem fix. Than upgrated my shop now it is solwed.

I'm having the same problem here on one of my sites. I found this fixed bug on the bug tracker, but it doesn't say how it was solved. Anyone know how it was fixed?

Nevermind, it turns out I just had the php.ini in the root directory instead of the admin directory. Now that the memory_limit is 128M instead of 8M, the images are working.
