sixela
Akretion (the company I work for, who is an OpenERP integrator) and Camptocamp (another OpenERP integrator) worked together to release the first version of the connector between OpenERP and PrestaShop. With this connector, you are able to : use PrestaShop as your front office: product catalog, customer accounts, carts, order validation and payment by credit card; use OpenERP as your back office: stock management, supplier orders, customer claims, accounting, etc. This connector is released under the AGPL v3 licence (the same licence as OpenERP). It doesn't require any additionnal module on PrestaShop because it uses the PrestaShop webservices. It supports OpenERP 6.1 (recently released) and PrestaShop >= 1.4 (but the mapping of objects is currently only provided for PrestaShop 1.5 for the moment, because we wanted to have multi-shop support). Once the connector is installed, you can synchronize : shops, currencies, languages, countries, carriers, products. Then, you are able to import orders from PrestaShop to OpenERP ; when importing orders, it will synchronize the customer of the order and its addresses. We will continue to enhance this connector with more synchro features (for example : synchro of stock levels, invoices, etc...) as soon as we will have our first customer projects on this connector. Here are some links for those who are interested : The presse release in English : http://www.akretion.com/en/blog/2012/02/23/release-of-the-prestashop-openerp-connector/ The connector page on Launchpad : https://launchpad.net/prestashoperpconnect/ P.S. : another connector "openerp-prestashop-sync" already existed on Launchpad. But our connector is a completely new development with a different technological approach. Our PrestaShop-OpenERP connector is designed with the same technological design as our Magento-OpenERP connector https://launchpad.net/magentoerpconnect with multiple abstraction layers and advanced management of synchros. Our PrestaShop-OpenERP connector is therefore as strong and solid as our Magento-OpenERP connector, which has a strong adoption and great references.
capesidereal
I'm highly interested in testing this connector but I don't have a clue how or where to start. I have installed openERP6.1 and Prestashop 1.5 What would be the next step to test ?
