[SOLVED] Add multiply attributes? help please

Recommended Posts

Hi all, ive got my website going and added vinyl lettering to it which I will create for the customer.

I've already added the different categories of 'small', 'medium' and 'large' and currently added attribute for each of the colours.

But I would like to add another for the font used but how could I do this?

Thanks,

Hi, I know this has been marked as solved but ive got a problem.

All was okay from adding the product and then okay after adding the first attribute, you could purchase it from the site etc.

Although when I added the second attribute, the problems started,

All I see now is :

'

Availability:

The product does not exist in this model. Please choose another.'

What can I do to solve this please?

Thanks,

Hi simpson,

I just took a look at this again, and I think I missed something originally on your screenshot. It looks like you generated your combinations incorrectly. Basically, you've generated each combination with a single attribute, instead of a combination of multiple attributes. Where your combinations are listed individually as:

Color: Black

Color: White

Font: Cancun

It should show up as:

Color: Black, Font: Cancun

and so on.

The reason you are getting this error is because PrestaShop is looking for stock specific to each combination, and as of right now the appropriate combinations have no stock.

Go back into the Combinations Generator, delete the current combinations and start over, highlighting everything you would like to combine in ALL attribute groups at once, and then click Generate. That should resolve this for you.

I hope this helps.

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply.

Ooo how do I combine them then please?

I simply added the colours to the attribute and then added the sizes as well, I didn't do anything to do with combining.

I don't see anything with 'generate'?

Sorry, thanks again

See here. B)

Ahh beat me to it. I'm glad you were able to resolve this. Happy Friday!

  • 7 months later...

I have tried everything, but i have the same error and this does not fix it. We sell coffee and only have 2 variables, that is "Ground" and "Beans". It always worked fine but now all of the sudden we get this error for all products with attributes.

How can i fix this? Because now my entire store is down. Help would be Greatly appreciated !!

Hello WinBoot, have you cleared your cache and cookies? This may help as well.

Just cleared them, and it seems to work perfectly fine now again. It's very strange actually since i had the same problem on my ipad and my mobile. Seems like i have to clear my cookies all day just to make sure i get the right interpretation of my webshop. But thanks for noting!

The casual error i am having is: The product does not exist in this model. Please choose another.

Sometimes i don't get the error untill i reload the page or select an option. I have cleared my cache multiple times on different devices and everywhere i have the same problem
