patrmich
Hi, I installed the Prestahop alternative theme (which is a certified Prestashop theme). In the directory themes/prestashop_alt, I am facing the following problem : I cannot rename or delete or load the global.css file : I get the message : 550 global.css: Permission denied Has anyone an idea to solve the problem ? Thank you in advance for any help, Patrick
Mike Kranzler
Hi Patrick, Have you checked the permissions of that file via FTP? Additionally, why exactly are you trying to rename the global.css file? -Mike
patrmich
Hi, The permission of the global.css file is set to 640. I cannot amend this value. My goal is not really to rename the file but to amend it. But I cannot load an amended global.css file to replace to original one. The permission of either renaming or loading is denied. Such behavior appears for the alternative Prestashop theme, but not to the main one. I solved indirectly the matter by creating another theme identical to the alternative one. In such new theme, renaming and loading works well. Thank you again. Patrick
Mike Kranzler
Hi Patrick, That's very strange that you're having this issue, but I'm glad you were able to resolve it! I'll go ahead and mark this thread as solved for you. Happy selling! -Mike
