Theme/Template questions - newbie

Hi there -

 

I've never built with a template before so I have a few questions that I can't seem to get answers to anywhwere else.

 

I have found some Prestashop templates that I like, but are missing a couple of key elements. I find one I like and there will not be:

 

an "other products in same category" box

- a "subscribe to our newsletter"

- an advertising box - I need to input my own advertising banner onto each page -

- we work with celebrities and I want to put a single photo montage jpg of many movies, etc that we have worked with on each page (i figured I can use an advertising banner for this, although the advertising block that comes standard is too small)

- a wish list box

 

I guess my question would be - the Prestashop installation comes with all of the above, but I don't know if I can add them into a designed template.

 

hope I'm not making this more complicated than it needs to be!

Hello,

 

If the source of the template files follows Prestashop's requirements, there is no reason you couldn't use any modules.

You might need to edit the style of the modules.

All that you need can be integrated, just make a good research of templates and try to copy them.
