nokki00
I just want to make sure I am getting this right. I will use the TPL files to add/modify custom HTML structure for the template. Is this right? Also can I add more than one text editor/cms in the center of the page. I would like to have text editor - featured products - then blog or text editor at the bottom of the page. eg text editor - Top featured products - middle blog or text editor - Bottom
PrestaMagic
Have you tried the Live Edit function in the BO? This will let you rearrange things a bit in a visual way. You are correct on the basic process: TPL files ARE template files (tpl is abbreviated for template, I believe).
nokki00
Yeah I tried live edit. Although when I tried to add a second text editor section i get the message that it's already in the center section. I was tring to add another text editor at the bottom. Thanks for your quick reply too.
PrestaMagic
You are welcome. I've often wondered about the text editor module and how one could add several blocks to PS - I could see a need for it, but have not done it myself.
bellini13
you would have to create a copy of the editorial module, and rename it to editorial2. be sure to rename everything from editorial to editorial2. then you could create different content and re-arrange both
nokki00
Thanks Bellini13. What do you mean about "everything" other than just the folder?
bellini13
all the filenames and folder. then open each file and search for editorial, you would need to change what you find
