nair2703
Hello! I am using Prestashop 1.4.6.2 The problem I am facing is with Tax I have created a new Tax and a new Tax rule of 19% and have enabled it for countries where I would be selling. But on the product detail page, the price always shows as tax excl. when it should show tax incl. This is the same with the cart, the cart does not show the tax at all! Also, the tax would not show up even if the registered user belongs to NL or another country where according to the set tax rules, the product must be taxed. Could someone please help me with this? My shop url - www.comcentrum.nl I have also attached he following files: product.tpl product tpl.doc shopping cart.tpl shopping cart tpl.doc Many thanks AJ
Prestafan1234
I am experiencing the same problem in a fresh installed shop running 1.4.7.0. I deleted all the default American taxes and I am using Danish VAT of 25 %. When choosing the VAT on the product from the dropdown, nothing changes. Is this a bug in 1.4.6.2 and 1.4.7? EDIT: My problem was solved, when I changed standard country to Denmark. This is done under Shipping - Countries.
nair2703
Hello Prestadan1234, many thanks! I did that. And, I must say that now the taxes do work. However, I have some questions and concerns: 1. Do we have to assign tax individually to every product from the BO for the tax to be calculated? isn't there a way to get taxes shown and calculated in a bulk manner for all products at once? 2. Even after I did what you suggested, the tax is shown in the cart! However the product page still says e.g. €121.23 taxes excl. when I would like it to show €144,27 taxes incl as well. How do I do this?
