Export
Hi, I have been trying to do this but without success. I need to change the contacts page and add Telephone numbers, address, Map, and email address (ie show the email address and not just the contact form) Is there a way to modify this without modifying code (I am not a programmer) or maybe a free or paid module which can do this? In my opinion, this should be available for future Prestashop releases, contact numbers etc should all be in one place especially for companies like ours who have a physical address and not just sell online. Mike Kranzler
Hi Export, Have you already tried editing the Stores Block module? There, you can add all of your physical locations very easily through the Back Office. -Mike
Export
Hi Mike, Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes I tried but it does not let you add your own telephone numbers etc (I am still testing on localhost) and I would like to have all the contact info in 1 Page. apart from the Stores Block what can be done? Export
Yes I did that and by editing the stores I will still not achieve what I want. I need to have all the contact information in the contact page. This is usually the case with most websites. Ian
jhnstcks
Currently the only way to add information to the contact-form page is to edit the contact-form.tpl file

jeyjoo
The best way seems to be adding the store contacts via the contact-form.tpl file. On the same subject, does anyone know how to change the default drop down box options for the contact form?
Mike Kranzler
On the same subject, does anyone know how to change the default drop down box options for the contact form? Hi jeyjoo, You can add or edit values for the contact form dropdown menu in your database's ps_contact_lang table. I hope this helps. -Mike

temmes
@jeyjoo If you mean the first dropdown (subject) those can be set by adding/modifying the contacts under Employees > Contacts @MIke Mentioning the Stores options, which I don't think Export was talking about, it would be the perfect solution to have the Stores module extended with an extra settings like: show_in _contact_page With some modification of contact-form.tpl this issue would be solved. As Export is right in saying that the best place to show your contact information is at the contact page.
morevsegouk
@loop54 thank you for the effort - but your module gave out an error after trying to install it :/ -- yes, it looks like that manual editing of contact-form.tpl is the best thing to do (my result: http://morevsego.co.uk/gb/contact-us) I will repeat steps described by B@ndit here: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/113777-solved-how-to-edit-the-contact-form/ : To Edit TEXT in contact form Open contact-form.tpl from your FTP client (on server) Edit file (make a backup first incase something goes wrong) Save file after you make changes, If your changes do not appear..... In backend then go to PREFERENCES> PERFORMANCE> FORCE COMPILE to YES Then SAVE Refresh page and you should see your changes... then back into PREFERENCES> PERFORMANCE> FORCE COMPILE to NO and Save... veronikaaa
Hello, I have made the changes in contact-form.tpl and it worked, so the contact page includes my information. But I have a problem with characters. I´m making a slovak web and the contact form is not able to show characters such as č,é etc. Have a look at my webpage: http://rozvazame.sk/kontakt . Can you advise me what do I have to input to the contact-form.tpl file so it can show UTF-8? Thank you
