cream2cream Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Hello, my sites finished im just uploading all my parts and its taking me weeks and weeks, nearly there for the launch, so now im thinking about hire some admin staff to upload details of my products. is there a option to set up individual accounts so they have restricted access to the site, for example they cant make the product go live, they cant tamper wiht other products already in the database? they only have access to that certain product category any advice would be very much appreciated thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Groove Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Hi you can set up staff permisions and give access to certain parts only, however from what i can see you can't block access to certain products or catagories. Take a look for yourself via Select Employees from the backoffice 1: Click Profile and set a profile up, Example: stockist 2: Then Select Permisions and from the drop down select the profile you have just set up (stockist) 3: Then work your way through the many options of what the stockist profile can access edit add and delete. 4: Then Click on Employees again and add and employee and asign them the profile you would like them to have (in this case stockist) hope that helps Groove Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
