georgek
Hi All, I currently have my shop in the subdirectory 'prestashop' off my root folder. So to access the shop I have to enter the url www.myshop.com/prestashop So my aim is to be able to go to www.myshop.com and see my shop. But I don't want to have to move the prestashop directory to root and I don't just want a redirect so when I type the URL www.myshop.com it redirects to www.myshop.com/prestashop. In effect I want the /prestashop part of the URL to be hidden. Is this possible? I've done a search and I can see where redirects have been used in the htaccess file to redirect but they always leave the shop subdirectory in the URL that appears in the browser bar, this is what I don't want. Hope all that makes sense!! Thanks for any help.
georgek
Ended up moving it to document root, seemed the easiest option.
