Setting up Couriers for UK... Getting Errors in Front Office & Paypal...Help

Afternoon all,

 

I am having problems with my site. I am in the process of setting up the carriers and when I tried to use the same carriers as before the upgrade (Think it was Prestashop 1.2.? to the newest stable version, 1.4.6). In the older version I set up each region as a country:

 

So the countries I had set up were:

Mainland UK

Scottish Highlands & UK Islands

N.Ireland & R.O.I.

 

When I tried this on the new site it worked ok up until Paypal, then it would not complete the transaction as it stated something like 'we do not deliver to your country at present'. I went in and set up a new courier as the United Kingdom only and this seemed to work so I am thinking it has something to do with ISO codes and linking them to paypal! Has anyone any experience of this? It was saying this:

 

PayPal response:

TIMESTAMP -> 2012-01-13T12:38:42Z

L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10725

L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address Country Error

L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> There was an error in the Shipping Address Country field

L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

 

Anyway,

 

I need to know how to set up couriers for each of these regions that will work in front office and be accepted by Paypal, I also want to set up 2 couriers for each region, the first being a standard delivery option which will be free and the second being a priority delivery option that will charge. if you can help that would be great.

Hey did you resolve this issue? If so, how did you get around it?
