[SOLVED] "Quick Search Module" when enabled it makes "Customer Data Privacy" bypass uncheck tickbox

I am getting this error. When the "Quick Search Module" is enabeled in the BO the "Block Customer Data Privacy" does not work properly in the FO since it allows users to register with an unchecked tickbox on the customer data privacy block.

Sorry I left it disabled after you asked me to disable it and to stop right there. :-). It just ocurred to me, but I think I found a solution, I went to Modules>Positions> and edited Quick Search Block adding authentication.php as an exception. It works, and I just figured no one will be searching the site from authentication screen.

 

....Continued. A few minutes after I sent this I was comparing a fresh install of Prestashop to the one we are testing and I noticed that in my test site Modules>Positions> the Quick Search Block was only hooked to Top of Pages and missing from Header of pages. After reading one of your posts (Special blocks not hooking on header) I understood the difference between Header and Top of pages and I realized what was causing the problem.

 

SOLUTION: Make sure the 'Quick Search Block' is hooked to Top of Pages and Header of Pages.
