Error that pops up in ajax-cart?

can someone help point me to the right direction in what this error means and how i would fix it?

Im not sure if its related, but one of my buttons on the home page also stops functioning intermittantly it seems (the categoies). I think this might be related somehow and was hoping someone could help.

 

Also, how would i go about changing the text from the top menu bar from "price drop" to "on sale"?
