Product Reference Numbers in Stock Notification Emails

I have 2 questions:

 

is it possible to have the product reference numbers appear in my stock notification emails? At the moment the remaining stock notifications list only the product name, and the out of stock notifications produce no information at all about what item they refer to.

 

Secondly, the stock levels do not reflect the stock on the site - for example I just received an email explaining that there was 1 item of a product left after a sale, when the product was infact now out of stock.

 

If anyone has anyideas with why this is occuring or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated as this is causing many issues internally,
