Problems Replacing Search Button With Icon

I am using the Prestastore Alt theme. I have replaced the search bar with my own search bar. I have replaced the search button with an arrow but the hover effect and block of text from the search button are still visible.

 

 

Which files and what code do I need to edit to remove them?

It is a module called blocksearch. Magnifier image is specified in blocksearch.css around line 30. The code is in the module template, again within the module directory.
