[SOLVED] Installation Step-1 shows nothing (no flags)

My installation won't go beyond step 1 ('System Compatibility').

I see the page, but no flags appear after the checklist items.

'Check my settings again' will remove the entire check-list leaving only the buttons. The Next button is green but won't react.

 

Tried on several browsers. Also tried switching display errors tot 'on' in config file.

 

Please help.

 

It's an entire new install (PS 1.4.6.2) On Linux, php5, MySQL 5.

Hi Roeland,

I took a look at this with a developer for you. Can you please confirm that all of the files/directories listed in that checklist do in fact have write permissions via FTP?

Shouldn't that be the next step? I thought the checklist would come up with some red and some green flags. Anyway, I now 777-ed all files and (sub)folders. And now I see the green flags (one red one). So thanks. Sorry to bother you with this.

Yes, usually it would look like that, but for some reason it wasn't working properly for you, which is why we had you check them manually. I'm glad we were able to get you past that step though, and welcome to PrestaShop!
