Importing Products to Subcategories via .CSV?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have no idea if this is in the right category, but I hope someone can help me anyway. I've been trying to import my products via CSV, but I don't know how to get the products to fit into my subcategories (one level deeper than my categories). I tried setting it up the way the sample .CSV said to set up regular categories ("Home, Category, Subcategory), but all that did was add new categories. Since I have a ton of products, I really don't want to have to add them all by hand. Help?

Thanks! :)

Hi,

if you have category Auto and subcategory Audi, you must indicate your category in CSV as Audi and your product will automatically add in subcategory Audi
