add option to buy product samples

Hi,

 

I am wanting to be able to sell samples of certain products on my site.

 

The samples will be set to £1 each but im not sure quite how to do this.

 

I am wanting to basically add a button on the product page above the 'add to cart button' that says 'order sample' and it just adds the £1 sample to the cart

 

Any one know how I could achieve this?

You could add an attribute group and call it "Product Size", then add two attributes labeled "Sample" and "Full Product". For each product that has a sample, use the Combinations tab and add the "Product Size" group with the £1 price for "Sample Size" and the regular product price for "Full Product".

 

The customer can then select which size is desired and have the correct price when added to the shopping cart.
