S7 Media Ltd
Hi there. I've spent hours trying to figure this out, and can't get my head around it. I cannot get the Prestashop Cross selling module to work -it's not displaying on the product page. I've done some test transactions to get it to display "customers who recently purchased this also bought..." but it's not displaying at all. I've even bought the Cross selling manager module from the Addons shop and am having the exact same problem. I've checked the source as a rendered page, and none of the appropriate javascript nor any related DIVs are being called, as if it weren't installed. Seems to work on other Prestashop sites I've made. The theme is a very heavily modified Matrice, though I've also tested it in the default Prestashop theme but with no success either. I'm running 1.4.4.1. An example product on the site which should be displaying related items is here: http://www.lightingmill.co.uk/Modern-Contemporary/419-Cooper-6-Light-pendant.html Thanks in advance. Mike Kranzler
Hi S7 Media, Can you please try uninstalling and reinstalling the Cross selling module, and then let me know if that gets it working any better for you? -Mike
S7 Media Ltd
Hi Mike, thanks for your response. I'm afraid not. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, made an order, but to no avail. As I say, I purchased the Cross Selling Manager also, and have done the same. But it's not working. Any further advice would be really appreciated. Thanks. indus
Have to tried doing an actual payment? Try setting status of order to 'shipped' and see if there is a change, Happened to me while testing the store once and since i didnt complete any test orders ithe block didnt appear,. Iam talking about the prestashop module though, not the paid one. But same logic applies.
S7 Media Ltd
Ahaaar indus, thanks so much! That's figured out the default Prestashop module. Doesn't explain the paid for module as those 'best sellers' are actually selected by the store owner. Interesting, I now have two sets of best sellers... Thanks again!! S7 Media Ltd
This is weird- because of your suggestion, the paid module is now working! It seems I had to invoke the Prestashop module to get the paid one working...anyway, thanks again indus, been a great help!
