Mike Kranzler
Hi dancerdee, How did you install PrestaShop? Did you use an FTP client like Filezilla or did you do it through your hosting provider? -Mike
dancerdee
I used FTP via cyberduck. There doesn't seem to be any home page. Also I asked my hosting provider to enable the function fopen. They have done that although in my prestashop login it still says please fix the following: Optional parameters: Please fix the following error(s) Allow the PHP fopen() function on your server ???????????????? Thanks for your help!

dancerdee
I uploaded the files to the public_html folder.
Mike Kranzler
Hi dancerdee, When I navigate to www.deirdredowling.com/prestashop (the path you've uploaded your site to), this is what I get: On my end, that looks like you do have a /prestashop folder on your FTP, but that it is empty and does not contain all the necessary PrestaShop files. To test this, I added an empty folder to a new installation, and I received a very similar result: Can you please check to see what, if any, files are currently inside your /prestashop directory via FTP? -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Heres the screen grab. What is the correct folder they should be in ? Have you already gone through the installation process online? I notice that you've already deleted your install directory and renamed the admin folder. -Mike

This is very strange and shouldn't be happening if you've followed our installation directions. -Mike

dancerdee
i knew it wouldn't be too long before i have another problem!! i just hav a question. Is it possible to set up payment where the customer enters their card details and they are sent to the owner where she will then take payment on a credit card terminal? So rather than setting up an account with money bookers/paypal etc? thanks!
Mike Kranzler
Hi dancerdee, Per the rules of the PrestaShop forums, please post each individual question in its own thread. We want this thread to be a resource for all users, current and future, to find answers to their issues with a simple search, and if the answer to their issue is buried within a thread on another topic, they may not be able to find it. -Mike
