Changing URL Rewrite Format without 3rd Party Module

I'm trying to change the format of URL rewrites in Prestashop.

 

Only a small change:-

 

---Examples---

mysite.com/10-categoryname/ to mysite.com/10/categoryname/ or mysite.com/categoryname/10/

 

mysite.com/4-about-us/ to mysite.com/4/about-us/ or mysite.com/about-us/10/

 

I presume the place to carry this out is in /classes/Link.php but if anyone could point me in the right direction or advise what code I need to alter to give the above results, I would be extremely grateful.
