Different Link Blocks?

Hi,

 

I'm very new to PrestaShop, and I'm having a problem with creating link blocks.

 

I have entered the modules section, located the link block module, and added some links to it, and added the link block to my page. No problem.

 

However, I want another link block on a different page with different links in it. Is this possible?

 

It seems that the links are global, or am I misunderstanding something?

 

All help would be gratefully received.

I think you are correct. There is only one block and it can only be used in one way throughout the site. Phrasespot has an interesting module that you lets you put pretty much anything in it and place it anywhere. So that should give you the second block that you need. Go to sites.google.com/site/phrasespot/ for that module.

I've taken a look at that module, and it looks as though it will be a good work around for what I need to do, certainly in the short time.

An alternative is to make a duplicate of your linkblock and give it a different name etc this will give you two distinct link blocks

Hi there! I installed the link block module I added the links but it's not showing in my site. I'm not really sure how that happened. Back then , it works fine on me back then but I uninstalled it and installed it again due to some reasons and then it's not showing anymore.

Go to modules / positions and check that it is hooked to the location you want to use.
