specials not shown - please advice

Hello,

I've setup a prestashop server - at the moment only reachable from the internal net.

Prestashop is running at the latest version 1.4.6.2, url rewriting is on and running smooth.

I've reduced the price of a product within the rebate-tab. The "On sale" logo is shown on the product page and also the "On Sale!" text is shown correctly. But the "Specials" window in the right column is still saying "no specials at this time". Hooks for the specials module are in "Headers of pages" and the right column.

Do I have to run a cron job to reindex specials? What else could I check? Thank you for any help.

I am assuming you mean prices tab? What does /prices-drop.php (or whatever you may have renamed the friendly URL) show? Is the product there?

 

Try with start date for the reduction in the past (e.g. yesterday). It seems to exclude today.

You were right. It seems that the price reduction were not shown on the same day. It worked fine today for the prices-drop yesterday. Thank you for your help!

hmm. yeah, I think it is a bug. I will open a ticket once I figure out how nuch it is delayed.

In my case, in the right the product appears with the special price, but nothing is shown in the prices-drop.php .

the price is set from the price tab/ product page, in BO, the discount ins 7% procentage, and the date is in the past ( 01.09.2012).

 

any ideas, please ?
