vanillafrog
Hi, I just ran into this problem. Initially, Force Compile was turned off, Cache was turned on. I wanted to make some changes to the site, so I switched Force Compile ON, and Cache OFF. And immediately the Front Office changed to a HTTP Error 500 (internal server error) page. I searched around the forums a bit, and followed some suggestions to install a module Empty Cache. Which I did, and emptied the cache but didn't work. I also regenerated my .htaccess file and also no solution. Now, even with Force compile on or off, the whole Front Office gives an error page. Can someone help me with this? I'm totally at a loss! EDIT: Managed to solve the problem. It just happened to be some Mailchimp CSS code that was added to the header that caused the PHP to act up. Not sure why though.
