user save giving error popup

Hi all,

 

Prestashop noob looking to convert from virtuemart.

 

I'm having a problem testing it on my pc. using wampp. installed via localhost just fine.

 

my problem:

I've set up an order and registering a new user.

when I click save button ( just under the referral text field) to save the user info a pop up appears

 

However if i try to click save again, it says email account already registered. I checked the back end and the user account, indeed did get created, but the user wouldn't know that unless they clicked save the 2nd time.

 

This is a big bug as it could lead to many unconverted sales.

 

Is it just a local web problem or would I get this as well on a live site on the web?

Hello, turn on PHP errors and check if there is something with them.
