Theme Installer Issues

Hi,

After purchasing two templates, of which neither would install, I'm 60 euros down (hope not), and have yet to receive a reply from prestashop about my complaints. But now I'm starting to wonder if it is not a bug in 1.4.6.2, because I am now experiencing the same problem trying to install a new payment module.

Whenever I try to upload a module / template, I get

The module must be either a .zip file or a tarball.

btw, I am using a zip file, and yes, my computer is on....

 

 

 

Anybody any ideas?

And what is the format of the module or template file you're trying to install?

Hi Mike, it's just a zipped prestashop theme I bought from the prestashop addons. I tried unzipping it, and making a tar file out of it, but no joy.

Hi Paul,

There's no need to unzip the folder. Just try uploading the zipped file and let me know if that works any better for you.
