I have store, which offer deliveries across 20 countries in the world. So for that reason i have created 3 sets of Category Blocks for each country... namely i) Shop by Occasion ii) Shop By Product iii) Shop By Festival. 2. Now i created 20 country names under Catalog > Home.. 3. And i also created 3 subcategories under every Country Category i.e. for Suppose Catalog > Home >USA>Shop by occasion >USA >Shop by Product >USA>Shop by Festival 4. Now i did the same thing under every Country Category. After that i have created different category blocks for every Country. If you see the URL www.flowerstovizag.com. Of course this is also made by me. 5. My Question is For suppose USA category id number is 2. and UK category id no is 3. If customer come to main pages he finds list of countries..when he clicks on USA category he will go to category page with id 2 and finds list of 3 category blocks which we created earlier. Upto this i can do. But if customer clicks on UK category with id 3 he will go to category page with id 3, he finds 3 set of categories , but also the category blocks we created for USA also. What exactly i want is if the customer clicks on particular category with ID "x" i want to hide few category blocks. I know this can be done some how. Please suggest me how to achieve this. Rolige Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 one thing is category and other thing is category and sub category, if you use only category, you don't will be have anything problem, but if you put: category 1: USA sub category 2: UK maybe you have a littel problem, and yet in this way could solve your problem with only select the default category to X product when create the product or edit, have a look in product entry page in "Default category:" and select only the category in which you want to show that product. What exactly i want is.. in Front office ... PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT I think you now got one idea...I want to create 20 categories under home category with 20 country names. And under every country category i want to create 3 categories 1)Shop by Occasion {SO} 2) Shop by Product {SP} 3) Shop by Festival {SF} Under every category i want to create different categories with names as mentioned above. For this i am creating different CATEGORY BLOCKS, as of now i can able to create for one country.. like in www.flowerstovizag.com. Now i want to create different category blocks..so please tell me How to hide few category blocks if we click one category. For suppose... if i click on USA i can see USA > SO >SP >SF Now if i click on India i can see India>SO >SP >SF but also USA >SO >SP >SF these categories also appearing on India Page... Which i dont want, i just want if i click on India ..then India category blocks should be visible. And if i click on USA only USA category blocks should be appeared. So please let me know how to make a category block invisible if we click on particular category.? Please help me... If we have set of 1,2,3,4...10 categories in Block A.. and set of catgeories 11,12,13,14...20 in Catgeory BLOCK B.. If we click on Catgeory 2 in Block A...we go to category page in which we find all the catgeory blocks i.e. BLOCK A & BLOCK B,,,,, Which i dont want if we click on catgeory 2 in Block A we go to category page but we have to see only BLOCK A..please dont suggest me "positions tab" tell me how to do this through coding ?
