SupaMonkey
Hey Guys, New to Prestashop and so far so good - except now Ive gotten to configuring my shipping options and Im not sure how to move forward. My shipper charges by weight, so for example: 1kg costs X 2kg costs Y 3kg costs Z etc... Now, prestashop allows me to create carriers and put a weight range to them, but I cant add such a formula as above. ie, if an order weighs 2kg, charge Y for shopping. Only way I can see this happening is adding 100 carriers and putting in the 'weight ranges' for each carrier instead of adding ONE carrier and putting in different pricing for different weight ranges. Surely this isnt the way to do it?

SupaMonkey
Got some PMs about this, so just for future reference: You add a carrier under shipping, eg UPS You then go to shipping->Weight Ranges, select Add New then select your carrier and enter your weight ranges. You have to enter all the weight ranges (eg: 1lbs, 2lbs, etc) and then back on the main shipping->weight ranges page, you enter the prices for each weight range.
