Homepage not re-directing

Hi, I'm having a little bit of trouble with my site, the web address is www.funhouse.ie

 

As you can see, this isn't what I want to show on the home page. I have all my files in the public_html folder on my server, it looks like this;

 

public_html-

-images

-presta

-index_first.html

 

I want the insex_first.html page to be the first page of the site. I am also missing the htaccess file, I deleted this cause it was empty.

I don't really understand what you want to do?

Is it a cover page you want?

I don't think index_first.html will work instead you should put your store in a sub-folder maybe and have your cover page as index.html

if you want to navigate directly to your store you would enter http://funhouse.ie/presta/'>http://funhouse.ie/presta/

 

if you want to enter your store with url http://funhouse.ie then you need to move your presta files to the root directory and not under folder presta. I don't know if you could change your site url from the back office to make it go directly to your store, i.e. back office--->preferences-->seo & urls (scroll down)...you will see Shop domain name and Shop domain name SSL change to www.funhouse.ie/presta/

 

As for your .htaccess, re-generate via back office-->tools-->generators

Thanks, I got it sorted, I re-directed it using my hosting control panel.
