Methylen
It shows the items as in stock "på lager" but whenever you click on the item, it reveals the true stock, how can i fix this? http://www.stalkerzo...ad/problem3.jpg http://www.stalkerzo...upload/foto.PNG
Mike Kranzler
Hi Methylen, Can you please clarify this a little bit? On the Product List page, I see where it says Out of Stock, and when you click on a product, it still says that the product is out of stock. Is there an issue there? Because from your screenshots everything appears to look fine. -Mike
Methylen
This is the overview when you enter a certain catagory http://www.stalkerzone.dk/upload/problem3.jpg you see where it says "på lager" right? this means in stock, if you click one of the products u get this http://www.stalkerzo...upload/foto.PNG
Mike Kranzler
Ah I see. I was using Google Translate, and it defaulted to the Swedish translation of på lager, which actually means "Out of Stock," while in Norwegian it means "In Stock." Very strange, but I'm glad that was cleared up at least. I'm going to run some tests to see what may be causing this, and will respond back as soon as I have some more information. -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi Methylen, I'm looking into this for you, and this appears to be due to the fact that you're allowing your items to be ordered when out of stock. What your "in stock" text on the product list page means from a literal sense is "available," while on the product page you get the availability message "Not in stock, can be ordered." You can change this option in your Catalog when you edit a product. I hope this helps. -Mike
Methylen
Oh, that makes sense. But it was my intention to make them available, I can't stock all the items I am offering due to prices and stock volume. How would i go about removing the showing of the "in stock" text, i tried leaving the field blank on the product but it's still there, do i need to remove it in the translation file or something? leaving the "Displayed text when allowed to be back-ordered" field blank does have the desired effect. but since that's the one i wanna keep
Mike Kranzler
Hi Methylen, You can translate (or delete) that manually in your Back Office under Tools > Translations > Front Office Translations. It should be in the product_list section. -Mike
Methylen
Awesome, it's working now, but i had to replace the translation with a space in both english and danish to make it work, if i just deleted the danish it said "available" instead, but it's working now. thanks a million!!!!!!!
