integrate spash page intro

hello, i was trying to integrate a splash page with a index.html file on the root prestashop folder, but, when i do that the mail website can load if i redirect the index.php the foward link,

what i have to do to edit on prestashop to make the intro page efective with a single html

 

or if there another way let me know thatnks

I'm not an expert but I think that the better way is installing PrestaShop in a subfolder and creating the right index.html (or other format you need) in the root folder...

You should do this with a special module and hook it up to homepage. You could check whether to show or not that splash screen and do everything on that.
