Installation difficulty -- Install page is blank

I am basically having the same difficulty as this guy: http://tinyurl.com/cem7jg

I confirmed with my web host (APlus.Net) that my server is running PHP 5.2.0, so that's not the problem. Then I activated my error codes, and this is what I got:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function simplexml_load_file() in /home/u5/sjoystudios/sjoystudios.com/html/sarahjanestudio/install/classes/LanguagesManager.php on line 21

I did some more research on the forums, and this guy had the same problem: http://tinyurl.com/d48a7g

So I called up my web host, and they said that the Simple XML extension is definitely activated. It looks like my problem is different than the two other posters I mentioned.

Any ideas? (This is my first time here btw...I've heard great things about PrestaShop!)

You can verify that your host has SimpleXML enabled by viewing their servers php info page. Once there, search for "simplexml"

Hey, i also had the same problem and using the aplus server but i rectified it in the php.ini file....
Go to your control Panel and click on the the PHp Configurations..
Choose Advanced Editing and Enable the Extension.

It will works my dear, let me know if you need any help..
