dogsndubs
Hi - I am very interested in using PrestShop as a replacement for my current out dated cart but would like to double check a couple of things before I go ahead and I would like to apologise in advance if I am repeating a previous post. We sell designs on a variety of different garment styles and each garment style has different colours, prices and sizes. I need to be able to create up a number of different option sets which I can then add (one set) to a new design (product) eg. When a customer wants to buy one of my designs, the first option they would need to select before they purchased it would be ‘Garment Style’ (Tee, Hoodie, sweatshirt etc) After they have a chosen the ‘Garment Style’ a second and third option of ‘Colour Choice’ and 'Size' would offer the customer the colours and sizes that were available in the garment style they chose. Also, the base price of the design (product) would be £0.00 but would dynamically change depending on which garment style they chose. On some software they call it dependable options or attributes. The BIG question is does PrestShop do this out of the box or is there an extra module that would do this? I hope someone can help as I have been searching for this feature for many months :-) Thanks in advance.
tomerg3
Sounds like you could use the default attributes in Prestashop, they are all "Connected", you can enter a different stock / price impact for each attribute combination. A combination consists of 1 attribute from each group (I Tee-Large-Red, Tee-Small-Red, etc...) As long as the number of combinations per product (the number of attribute in the first group * number in second * number in third) is under about 1,000 you should be good. Mike Kranzler
Hi dogsndubs, As tomerg3 said, this is something you can do using our Combinations Generator and Attributes & Groups feature. You can find a good overview on how all of that is done starting here. I hope this helps, and I hope to see you on this forum more! -Mike
