mindhaze
For some reason when I go to replace my supcategory images they remove the old one and don't display the new one. In the back office it shows, but not in the front. Also the <img> tag doesn't exist to display the image to begin with. I've tried rebuilding the images as well. http://174.122.62.16/store/category.php?id_category=29 Please help..... Thanks in advance, Paul
tdr170
After making the change are you checking force compile and cache to no under preferences/ performance. If using IE you can use control/ f5 to force a new page load and override cookies. If these do not work clear all caches ..../themes/ prestashop/ cache and clear your browser cache and try agian. Please give update. i looked at page did not see any problems are you saying there is no image after update or just not the new image.
mindhaze
The reason you see the images is I noticed if I upload it as jpeg vs png, it creates the <img> tag required to show the image. So what I've been doing is let it generate the filename in the tag and I rename the file I want to put there and manually upload it. It works, but it's a bummer it doesn't work correctly. tdr170
What type of file are you uploading, there are many programs that will convert one image format to another. I use Paint Shop Pro and can even do batch coversions, if you check downloads.com you will probably be able to find a free image converter.
