[SOLVED]changed the meta tags in back office, now my homepage doesnt load

Recommended Posts

Hello PS members

I was changing the meta tags in back office and when I clicked save I got a 500 error, I found a problem in the htaccess file and finally got my site to load, however somewhere it has added a level that is not there and causes a page notr found error

before when it was working ok it was http://www.britishonlinegoodies.com/en and that took me to my homepage

now when I try to surf to my website I get a page not found error with the following url

http://www.britishon....com/en/goodies

I have no idea where the /goodies part is coming from, I have trawled the database with PHP Myadmin and cannot find it in there anywhere.

I have looked through config files, settings, etc in the shop directory and admin directory but cannot see where this additional directory is being picked up from

Any help greatly appreciated

I did initially set goodies as the url rewrite option, but that has since been changed and left blank, I have also turned off url rewriting

I am running PrestaShop™ 1.4.0.17

Edit - 22-01-2012

Dont know how it happened but I woke up and checked my site, it is working fine now !
