Quotes or Bids

I would like to use presta shop for clients to prepare quote requests, so that we can review, and present a price, then they can order.

 

 

Example:

 

Add to cart - 1 custom home

2 brdms

1 pool

 

Client places order and pays nothing

 

We recieve the order as a quote request,and after review, assign it a custom price. and collect manually from client (paypal request pmt) or other method.

 

 

If not, does presta shop curently support adding items to the cart and ordering, without a payment.

I saw another customer thread about it, but cannot find it, as this forum search does not allow me to search for the word quote or quotes.

sort of. there are modules like COD and Bankwire which allow you to place an order, and pay later for the order.

 

you could copy one of those modules and change it to your liking, so that a customer can place an order without paying. The module would just give the customer instructions on what happens next in the order process.
