Setting different shipping cost

Hi Forum.

 

I have a problem when setting shipping cost. Both by weight

I have 2 kinds of cost 1 for parcels up to 1,6 kg and 1 for parsels over that.

I have set the the 1 with up to 1,6 kg as default.

I have tried to make some test and even if I define a product to weigh 15 kg my checkout still chose the default weight and price?

 

Another thing is how do put ind the weight on a product ? if I put ind 0,350 = 350 gram it is after saving

350 KG? is that right?

when testing the 15 kg one I put ind 15,0000 and it says after saving 15 KG

No matter what I try the system just choose the smaller ( default ) price and does not take any notice of the weight entry in the product setup.

Any help to this please.

First look under shipping and make sure you have Billing set to according to weight.

When setting up your weights make sure you do not have gaps in the range.

This is concidered a gap:

0 - 100

101- 200

201 - 300

 

Set this way

0 - 100

100 - 200

200 - 300

or

0 - 100.1

100.1- 200.1

200.1 - 300.1

 

If you have gaps in your range you will get a out of range shipping price which is usually the highest set price.

As far as the weight you enter sounds like you have that figured 15.0000 = 15kg so 350kg would be enter as 350.0000 as .350 would be 350 grams.
