[SOLVED] Product missing from order history

We recently upgraded from PS 1.0.0.4 to 1.4.6.2, the problem I'm sitting with is that ordered products do not show in the order history (Front Office -> My orders). When my customers lo into their account and click on "My orders" then select any of their existing orders, these open and show the correct order amount/value but without any products being displayed in the actual order (see attached image).

 

In the BO everything seems ok, I can view the orders as well as the products ordered in each order. My customers also receive the order confirmation emails which display the product/s ordered so no problem here, the only issue seems to be in the front office when accessing "My orders".

 

Besides the inconvenience, this causes another problem. A customer is unable to request a return should a product be faulty because there's no product to select within the order.

 

We've done the following to eliminate possible causes;

 

* Switched on the default theme.., problem persists

* Force Compile on, refreshed, Force Compile off, placed new order.., problem persists

[uPDATE]:

 

If from the front end I open "My merchandise returns", then I am able to view passed return requests (RMA's) and these display the products correctly. This referring to returns processed while still using PS version 1.0.0.4 and not after the upgrade to 1.4.6.2.
