Hi flem,

This is completely normal, and a default function of your current template. Are you looking to disable this functionality?

In that case, you may want to consider trying a different theme, as the hover function is pretty-well integrated into that theme and would be a little more complex to remove. However, clicking the Home button should still take your customers to the home page, regardless of whether or not the hover function is working.

Hi Mike. Thank you very much, but that is the problem-the home button does not take me back, but just take me to the first category.

thank you very much for your help - when I changed to this theme I had to do a lot of work to get everything working again, so I am not up for that just now.

Hi flem,

Without looking at your Back Office, I can't tell you specific directions, but you should take a look at URL Rewriting under the Preferences tab of your Back Office, because you can manually change the redirection there. Just be sure to generate your htaccess file under Tools > Generators afterwards.

And as always, be sure to back everything up first!

I hope this helps.

I use the same theme and successfully killed this function without doing anything fancy. Go to the top horizontal module in "Other Modules" Find the link to home that is pre-installed in the module and erase it. Then make a new link to home, specifying your home address and use that one. Note: You can't change the order that links appear on the bar once you've set them up in this module, so add them to the left window in settings in the order that you want them to appear.
