Rajastones
Hi, I know nothing about programming, but I would like to have a footer on my website, www.rajastones.co.uk. How can I put this in place to show legal info, contact, terms and conditions of use etc. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried everything. Mike Kranzler
Hi Rajastones, The footer is a function of each individual theme, and at first glance I don't think your specific theme has been built to contain a footer. This is absolutely something you can configure via PrestaShop, and is even included in our new default theme. I would recommend you either consider switching to another theme or speak with the developer of your current theme to see what would need to be done in order to configure this. I hope this helps. -Mike
Richard S
In addition, you might use some CMS block, but as already other member mentioned you will still need some developers help.
Rajastones
Hello, Thank you for the info. I had a theme, but I had changed the background to a photo of the stones that I have. I would never have thought that this mattered? Is it possible to have the footer put in place regardless? Thanks
Mike Kranzler
Hi Rajastones, That is something you would need to discuss with the original creator of the theme. PrestaShop uses "hooks" for different areas of the site, so it is probably best to speak with the developer who created this theme in order to see if he can do it for you. Alternatively however, you can speak with a member of our advanced support team who may be able to give you some suggestions. You can call them at 888 947 6543. I hope this helps. -Mike

Rajastones
I wish I knew how to put in a footer. All I did was to change the background image, and coloured the vertical column on the left. My internet developer has 'gone', and the Theme that I was given is called 'Theme 028'. That is it, since then the footer has gone!!!! Any info on how to put it in place would be appreciated!!! Thanks Raja Stones

Mike Kranzler
Do you have a link to where you downloaded or purchased this theme? I'm not familiar with it and would like to look into it further. -Mike
Rajastones
Hello, I was sold my internet site for £600.00, and my developer has gone. This theme is called Theme028, and I have no idea where it is from. All I did was changed the bg_image file to what it is now, and changed the them blue band to Black and made a Raja Stones logo. If you want any more info, please let me know, but in the meantime I will continue to look. Theme028

Mike Kranzler
Ahh this is a TemplateMonster theme, so what you will want to do is contact them directly to get assistance on making any modifications. They will know the structure better than anyone, and we always prefer to give the original developer the opportunity to provide support for their product. -Mike
Rajastones
Hello, I have spoken to TemplateMonster. They cannot help me as I do not have a purchase ID. I think I am stuck. My web developer has gone, and I merely changed the pictures and photos etc. I have tried everything. Thanks Mike.
