bravo2red
Hi There, Firstly I'd like to thank the makers of PrestaShop for making such an awesome software, and for free! I also wish apologise if this is a stupid question but I have recently set up a PrestaShop (http://funkyflashdrives.net/) and am having great trouble with the the postage plugin. I was wondering whether anyone out there could help me with the following: - What's the best plugin to use in England for calculating Postage? - How do I configure it? - Is there any plugins for Royal Mail? Any other comments would also be appreciated. Thanks for your help in advance! Daniel.
Richard S
Hello, First of all, your shop is deactivated as you asked for some opinion in other topic. Secondly, have you tried searching module like that on your local search? Any luck?
bravo2red
Hi Richard, I didn't think my shop was deactivated? I've tried finding out if this plugin exists by browsing through different websites but alas, no help.
Teapot Creative
Hi If you go to the Post Office and get their 'cost by wieghts' leaflet you could manage your postage charges in prestashop via the 'By Weight' option. Alternativly, take a look at your competition and see what they are charging and match or beat their prices. Also take a look at your competitions 'Delivery Rates' section to see how they manage it. This is the best option as you will be more competative within your market. And to be honest there is no hard and fast rule and you will see that FREE POSTAGE is on of the best ways to get your customers shopping.
